Hello and welcome to the updated Jennifer's Craftiworks & Art blog! I got bored with the old color scheme and layout, so it was time to try something a little bit different. Hopefully the sleeker new theme will inspire me to post more often. As you can see from this being the first post since August, I couldn't really post less often without deleting the blog entirely. 😏 I have plenty of content ideas swimming around in my head, but they're slippery little buggers. I can't seem to catch one long enough to reel in. It is what it is and I enjoy so many other activities that I'm ok with a blog that tends to be neglected.
Instagram has been my go-to sharing platform for a little while now. It has a lot of pros such as portability and ease of use. Plus, it seems like I am able to reach more people and have more interactions there than here (ok... if I posted as many blog entries as I do Instagram photos that might change). So, if you'd like to see more frequent content, hop over to Instagram and follow @jenniferscraftiworksart to:
- see what Topper, Theodore Cuddles, and Ashton are up to
- check out my interpretations of various art challenges (I'm currently participating in the Doodle Wash March 2020 and Monochromatic March watercolor challenges... just have to catch up)
- see posts from cool places I get to visit locally and abroad
- find out about new items, sales, and promotions happening in the virtual shop
- vicariously enjoy the occasional vacation
- and more
While I await the elusive perfect armoire, I'm still working on making, photographing, describing, packaging, and listing items for the shop. I'm also enjoying playing with different mediums including watercolor, ink, yarn, etc. and just seeing what I can make with them. The yarn is the hardest one so far because, well, cats! 🐱
That's about it for today, I'm digging the logo I designed for the shop a little while ago (see photo). The photo is of the black and white version, but I've also been playing with adding colors.
You can keep up with me by following me on Instagram. If you'd like to see what is currently listed and available in the shop, check out www.jenniferscraftiworks.com
Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!
Staay
