Moving Update & Future Considerations

Bow ties and Wine
Hello again, readers.  The move into my new place is running along slowly but smoothly.  The kitchen is all set and ready to go, just needs a table and chairs.  I have even begun stocking the fridge and made 2 meals so far- bow ties with marinara sauce and linguine with pesto and shrimp... read more about my cooking adventures at Solo Culinary Adventures.  Most importantly, the wine rack is fully stocked and fits perfectly on the countertop.
Fantastic "Laundry Room"
The "laundry room" is all set and my fabulous landlord even installed 2 shelves to assist with the slight storage space issue in the tiny house.  Isn't it nice?  There is even room for a couple of houseplants on the windowsill.  It's fantastic.  I just need to figure out how to smooth out a rough spot in the dryer... it looks like something chewed up some of the plastic.  Perhaps a DIY tutorial in the works?

Before: Ugly
After: Much Better
The hideous red carpet in the bedroom has been replaced with a far more visually pleasing shade of blue.  Even the paneling looks better with the new carpet!
Now it just needs a bit of furniture...

Please excuse the mess.
The living room is definitely in need of some furniture.  Then again, who needs the basics like a couch, end table, etc?  I have an empty box and 2 bagged tailgating chairs!  Honestly, the box is the perfect height for the chairs and with a bit of fabric to act as a tablecloth, the box could do for a little while... until it gets damp or worn out of course... definitely need to find a couch though.  Please excuse the mess in the picture.  There are boxes everywhere.

beautiful Adirondack chair
As a little bonus to the house- it has 2 fantastic porches... one in the front, one in the back.  Plus, my landlord is fantastic with woodwork and a really nice guy!  He put a pair of these Adirondack chairs he made on the back porch.  The picture doesn't do them justice, but I took it at night so everything is a lot darker in the picture.  The chairs are actually a rather nice medium-light finish.  Definitely impressive.

So now, the future considerations... I am strongly considering opening the Jennifer's Craftiworks shop again.  Might just make it happen once things are settled at the new house.
